Elemis Hydra Range Review

Elemis Hydra Range

Elemis have just upped their game and released 3 brand new spanking creams from their new Elemis Hydra Range: Hydra-Balance, Hydra-Boost and Hydra-Nourish, it’s all going hydra at Elemis HQ and I’ve got a sneaky suspicion that these aren’t the only products or “product” Elemis have under wraps. I have two of the newly released products literally at my side and I’ve been testing them for a good 2-3 weeks, my honest verdict is now in!

Starting off! Hydra-Balance Day Cream; a super-lightweight quickly absorbent cream that not only balances oil production but also co-works with your skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF) to maintain optimum moisture levels, how very clever! The consistency was somewhat unique to any other lotions and potions I’ve smothered on my skin, with its dreamy satin like texture and weightless feel, I think my skin was actually shocked and surprised with the difference.

The fresh, floral aroma of petitgrain, uplifting neroli and warming mandarin, not only will your skin feel comforted and relaxed but your mind will fill of ease too. Quenching Hyaluronic Acid; a water-holding molecular that retains over a 1000 times its weight in water resulting it as a superb boosting ingredient. Did you know that hyaluronic acid was first used for an eye surgery? Fleecy blooms of meadow-sweet soothes inflammation while bentaine strengthens the skins barrier and has the ability to reduce the depth of wrinkles giving skin that softer, smoother appearance.

Now if you’re needing that much wanted good nights sleep, then look no further, now I have to be honest with you all I’m not the one big on these so-called ‘night creams’ and there has only ever been one other which I have truly liked – trust me to fall in love with an expensive one but having trialled this particular cream I’ve decided to jump on the night cream bandwagon!

Elemis Hydra-Nourish Night Cream offers mind calming ingredients geranium and ylang ylang that both get to work on your poor dehydrated skin by replenishing and restoring those vital nutrients that skin always craves.

With its super-duper anti-oxidant rich broth, skin-plumping hyaluronic acid and persian silk tree extract reduces current pigmentation that creates unwanted greyish, dulling looking skin. Plant emollients such as soja (Soybean) Sterols provides extra comfort and moisture to the skin. The consistency is so light and fast-absorbing you wouldn’t believe that it was an actual night cream, because of this I didn’t feel the cream gave that greasy or tacky effect, not like your usual night creams that are normally incredibly heavy on the skin, you can almost feel the pores being blocked, talk about skin suffocating! A little tip I like to do is by applying a thin layer of this cream on my brow bone and under my eyes, this then acts as an eye mask so when you wake up the next morning be prepared for hydrated, revitalise skin.

If your skin is needing that much pick me up then these two intelligent moisturisers will certainly do the trick. Head over to Elemis now and order your very own tubes of the Elemis Hydra Range by clicking here
