As with all Korres products, there’s no denying on how amazingly scented the products are, the Greek natural brand always offer something special and unique on the table that makes you go “Ooh”.
First in the beauty world, Chestnut Tree Extract treats and protects vital skin elements whilst containing oodles of antioxidants that our skin craves. The second ingredient is HALupeol, an active molecule that repairs, restores and prevents wrinkles from appearing (impressive much!).
What’s even better about this ingredient is a Hyaluronic Acid barrier around the molecule allowing it to penetrate more naturally, deeper into the skin. You wouldn’t think all this was obtained from the leaves of a Chestnut Tree. Whilst Vitamin C luminates and brightens, Apricot softens and retains skin elasticity.
As I applied the product on face, it appeared that I had to really massage the cream into skin properly for it to fully absorb. For better skin absorption, try exfoliating skin before application. We’re wanting the cream to penetrate into the skin not sit on top with the dead skin cells.
Lightweight and dense in texture, I was expecting the cream to be heavier, richer like other night creams. Although the product does leave a slight film on the skin, I cannot complain how hydrated, well-rested my skin looked after use.
