Murad Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum

Do you suffer from dehydration and sensitivity? Welcome Murad Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum as your new best friend.

Murad Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum.

I’ve started becoming a little more aware of what I’m putting on my skin and have been using products that are labelled as ‘sensitive’ ‘anti-irritation’ or ‘redness relief’, you can kinda catch my drift on what products I’ve been purchasing over the past 3 months or so. I’m gonna be completely honest and say that my skin has never looked and felt better since being more careful on what fancy pansy cream I smother on my precious face. sniggers

The idea around this serum from Murad is like drink for your skin, so think about what would happen if you didn’t drink x amount of water a day, skin becomes dehydrated, lacks radiance and becomes as dull as a miserable, cloudy day. I’m gonna raise my hand shamefully and say that I don’t drink enough water alone.

Murad Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum contains a waggon load of comforting and soothing ingredients that will help to calm and hydrate skin. An ingredient I’ve mentioned in my one of recent post hereHyaluronic acid is responsible for keeping our skin youthful, hydrated and plumped. Glycolipids (also known as Ceramides) are natural occurring lipids that protects the top skin layer (stratum corneum) from any signs of water loss the can result to dry, wrinkly skin. Over exfoliation the skin can cause less skin lipids. Chamomile Extract and Arnica extract acts as calming agents to desensitized and ease irritation from ongoing redness, shaving, waxing and reactions you may have developed from skin care products.

What did I think of the serum?

With my ongoing condition seborrheic dermatitis (a common scaly red rash that can be present on the scalp, face and ears) what can be an absolute nightmare to deal with, especially when the climate changes or I’ve been using too many AHA/BHA products (a recent discovery!) It can be a real pain to control, luckily this serum from Murad has been working like a dream, skin just looks calmer, more relaxed, hydrated and redness has decreased by half.

I do use a prescription gel on my skin condition but only at night as the greasy thick texture just doesn’t do my skin any justice in the morning, that’s when I opted for this super skin saviour Murad serum instead.

The Murad Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum is priced at £49.00. Check out the rest of the Redness & Sensitivity range here.

I do like the sound of this and have always loved the Murad Anti Blemish body products. What prescription is it you’re using if you don’t mind me asking John? T x

Hey Thom. It was a high strength of hydrocortisone ointment. I’ll be on the look out for the Anti Blemish body range. John XO
