Help is at hand with the latest innovation from Proactiv, introducing Proactiv+. Thats right, the makers of Proactiv Katie Rodan, M.D and Kathy Fields, M.D have been cooking up a new recipe and have taken the old formulation of Proactiv to the next level. Well, Proactiv was first released in 1995 as a subscription basis only – I do think it’s about time for a little upgrade, don’t you?

The difference between Proactiv and Proactiv+ packaging:

As shown above, the original out-dated font bottles are now replaced with clean-looking white tubes, more user-friendly, readable to the public eye. The products are now easier to dispense because of the new design. The updated font and the use of green gives the feel of a fresher approach.

Proactiv+ Complexion Perfecting Hydrator:

The final 3-step from the newly revamped brand Proactiv+. Now, in all honestly I was surprised at how well Proactiv+ performed. In the past Proactiv has received mixed reviews of its original core products, unfortunately, I haven’t tried or tested the original core line of Proactiv so I’m unable to compare the two from side-to-side.

As you can see, Proactiv+ have vastly improved by offering better results from the new Proactiv+ range. Hydration, Radiance, Pore Size, Dark Spots and Redness are probably the five most major issues people are concerned with day-to-day, male or female. So, as you can see from the comparison chart, Proactiv have definitely done their research. For example: Acne sufferers aren’t just wanting clear, blemish-free skin, they’re wanting a reduction in pore size and quick removal of dark marks. Did the new Proactiv+ work for me?

Yes! For the first few days of using Proactiv+ I noticed very little improvement but after a full week of using only Proactiv+ products blemishes were becoming less frequent, blemishes that were making an appearance were soon making an exit! For the first time ever, skin didn’t need that extra support from other anti-blemish products, dark marks were fading slowly and my large open pores were looking cleaner, more closed. Overall, very impressed by the results Proactiv+ has given me, but wouldn’t call it the cure for all acne as I was still getting a few blemishes but just not as often – can’t really complain can I.
