Background
After becoming a huge sensation in South Korea, BB creams have had a successful world trip. From the heart of Asia to the states, Europe and the United Kingdom. The actual BB product itself has been modernised and altered to suit different ethnicity.
When Clarins released their original BB cream, it became a huge success. Unlike the Asian versions that provide more of a foundation coverage, the U.S. BB creams offer minimal coverage, a finish you would expect from a tinted moisturiser.
Clarins have provided a total of 4 different shades, all yellow-toned, helping to hide facial redness and blemishes while uniforming overall skin tone. I have shade light which is the perfect colour for my pink-toned skin, although I wouldn’t necessarily call this a ‘fair’ shade for users with fair skin tones. If you’re wanting a warmer, almost sun-kissed finish then this BB fluid from Clarins is perfect.
Unbelievably light
The Clarins BB Cream Detox Fluid balances, perfects and protects with a single layer of it’s fresh, cooling fluid texture. With an SPF of 25, you won’t have to worry about the signs of skin aging. Don’t mistake its light consistency for little cover, the Clarins BB Cream Detox Fluid offers a gorgeous radiant, semi-matte finish complementing skin types of combination to oily prone.
This BB Cream Detox Fluid offers the lightness of a tinted moisturiser but a light to medium coverage of a fluid foundation. You could quite easily hide a minor imperfection or two, just don’t expect it to fully cover up those unwanted marks completely.
Detoxifying. How?
The use of juicy kiwi extract revitalises, calms and enlivens congested-looking skin. It’s detox time with acerola seed extract. This delicious fruit is used for it’s brightening and refreshing properties, that contains more vitamin c than a single orange. The acerola cherry delivers a detoxifying process by removing harmful toxins thanks to its deep cleansing abilities.
