Skin Chemists have recently launched an exciting ‘Retinol Range’ which consist of an infused eye serum and a hardworking moisturiser. Luckily, Mr. Wharff was able to get his mitts on the moisturiser.

So, what is Retinol?

Retinol; an ingredient which many of you may have heard of. Retinol (otherwise known as Vitamin A) is a superb powerhouse ingredient that can improve and repair a variety of skin concerns; acne, sun damage and scarring, while diminishing the appearance of those pesky fine lines and wrinkles. This potent, high performance intensive moisturiser also encourages a youthful, glowing appearance. Did you know that retinol is a secret antioxidant?

Other intriguing ingredients include; Coconut Oil deeply repairs and hydrates while Tiare Flower calms and purifies. Common thickening, anti-bacterial and silicone ingredients are used as well.

Retinol is a like the big daddy in the family; strong, protective and hardworking. With its pearl white colour, seductive fragrance from Tiara flower and emulsion consistency, the product immediately absorbed into the skin leaving it velvety smooth. Over the small course of 2 weeks; my skin was beginning to look even-toned, purified and radiant. Applying my corrective concealer wasn’t needed. Skin will be left fresh and mattified. 

Formulated for all skin types. You can use this product alone, or I would personally advice users to apply a sunscreen on top to ensure skin protection from the sun and pollution.

Unfortunately there is a small percentage of people who are unable to handle the power of retinol but that shouldn’t stop users from giving this gentle baby a go.
