A budget-friendly dark spot corrector that targets discolouration; reduces hyper pigmentation = dark spots; post-acne scars; sun damage. Formulated with Palmer’s Tone Enhancing Complex.
Ingredients include; Songyi Mushroom Tricholoma Matsutake); a Japanese mushroom extract known for its pigment-perfecting and whitening properties; Soy – restores luminosity; Liquorice Extract is added because of its main component glabridin - which has an effect on the skin by inhibiting tyrosinase activity; Vitamin C + E; No surprise but Cocoa Butter is included in the mix; Synovea; a powerful skin-lightening ingredient commonly used to treat brown patches on the skin. Last but not least Niacinamide [one of the two forms of Vitamin B3] water-soluble, this ingredient targets and corrects discolouration which inhibits the production of melanosomes (the cells that produce dark spots).
So, I applied the product twice a day after cleansing as directed. Palmer’s recommend to use the whole entire face range of Palmer’s for best results but to be honest with you – my skin didn’t get on with their newly released cleansing gel or daily lotion. On application – the fragrance of the product has a medicated mint chocolate scent to it, luminous and silky texture, once applied to skin, the product soon absorbs into the skin leaving it slightly sticky.
I used the dark spot corrector twice a day for 2 whole weeks and noticed my skin appeared more luminous + even on the targeted area [top of right cheek] I applied the product, the scar on my nose from a double decker bus lightened too.
Unfortunately, I haven’t provided pictures from my results because it’s almost impossible to provide clear result without some kind of special lighting and my camera wouldn’t be able to capture that precise image.
