OK, so this is becoming a bit of a pain in the neck! I can NEVER leave the house without having my trusty products with me at all times and if I ever forget to bring these important essentials then I’m moody for the rest of the journey, my partner can sometimes keep me occupied like ‘look JB, a skin care sale!’, and that tends to calm me down. Oh, and if your wondering why my other half calls me JB that’s my nickname - I know, weird but I like it!
So, here are my MUST HAVE Pocket Essentials;
You can buy L’Occitane Shea Moisturising Organic Lip Balm here
Lip Balm - I cannot stand having dry, cracked lips, it really does get on my tits! I think it’s a bit of OCD coming out of me but then again dry lips really don’t look attractive. I like to change lip products as I feel they become in-effective if your only using the same one all the time – like pro-longed use of the same skin care products, your skin will get used to that product. I have been giving L’occitane 10% Shea Butter Lip Balm a whirl and I’m quite impressed with it; long lasting and comforting whilst smelling absolutely delicious.
Another one I would highly recommend is the Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm which I have recently reviewed here. Ridiculously priced but boy it delivers!
Purchase Menaji CAMO Concealer here
Concealers! I ALWAYS keep one in the back pocket on my travels, even if I’m walking to my local supermarket I cannot be without one – my partner has even drove me back home because I’ve forgotten to pick it up - he’s very understanding. I must be cursed because if I don’t take it, I break-out and if I have it on me, guess what? No break-outs - very odd! So my choice for a concealer is Menaji CAMO Concealer for Men - Bloody brilliant stuff, It’s basically bullet-proof! Available in 3 different tones, I use the lightest shade – grape-seed oil based, infused with vitamins while providing an SPF of 8 - photo-friendly!
Laidbare Sunflower Hand Cream available here
While the weather is still looking grey and dull with no sign of a spec of sunshine, that frosty chill in the air is still about because after all, we are expecting snow in February. I’ve discovered a light hand cream that deeply nourishes whilst being non-sticky, naturally rich in shea butter, sunflower oil and vitamin C - this velvety, comforting-smelling cream instantly absorbs into the skin leaving your hands in full working order.
