Created by Wife & Husband Glenn and Shannon Dellimore, known as a ‘backstage secret’ for the rich and famous at Hollywood, over the recent months there has been a lot of positive hype on social media websites, especially on Twitter, but I wasn’t all that impressed, in fact the only impressive thing about the product is the design of the jar, I won’t be keeping this product a secret!

The so-called ‘hero mask’ contains an array of irritating ingredients, little did you know right? Apart from the benefit of real clay inside the mask, applying pure plant extracts such as the classic lavender oil, your just asking your skin for trouble I’m afraid. Their ‘famous ingredient’ Teoxi is really just plain old Green Tea Extract which will provide some antioxidant-effect on the skin, that’s all. On the upside; polyethylene beads provides a light exfoliation on the skin.

Upon application; I applied the product onto cleansed skin, immediately I felt a sharp, tingling sensation, the tingle lasted for about a minute or two – if you notice a tingling sensation in any product, that is NOT normal, I removed the product after 10 minutes and noticed absolutely no difference apart from a minus oily slick on my t-zone.

The product should really be in a tube, like the sample sizes – jars opened to the air don’t do the ingredients any justice, sensitive skin users should definitely keep away from this, especially with the amount of un-needed fragrances in the product – no wonder my skin felt like it had just been stung my a bee.

Overall; I wouldn’t recommend this over-priced, over-hyped product, just because the word ‘celebrities’ is involved – doesn’t always mean it’s the best. Two alternative, safer products I would recommend are; REN ClearCalm 3 Clarity Restoring Mask or Origins Out Of Trouble Mask which I have both reviewed on my blog, they are roughly a third cheaper than GLAM GLOW too!

Sorry Mr & Mrs Dellimore, but your product has failed to impress me, my advice would be to reformulate the product as soon as possible!
