Animal-testing free, paraben free and award-winning, Bluebeards Revenge is a quality british brand for any man that want to take their grooming to the next level.
Starting off! This Bluebeards Revenge Cooling Moisturiser is packed with skin loving oils, balancing jojoba oil and moisturising sweet almond oil while stinging nettle extract a natural astringent calms and soothes shaving nicks.
Packaged in a slimline pump dispenser bottle, this nifty little moisturiser sure lives up to it expectations! It claims to be able to moisturise even the driest of skin types, and calm the most sensitive skin, and it’s a claim it’s certainly able to make.
One pump of this product is plenty for one application. The consistency is quite thick for a moisturiser but when warmed in the palm, the consistency changes to a somewhat lighter product. The scent of the product is not particularly strong, clean, fresh smelling scent!
When applied to the skin, the product instantly soothes irritation caused from shaving, and having used this product over the last month, I have noticed a definite reduction in redness on my neck. The product absorbs into the skin relatively quickly around my neck area, but does take longer to absorb around my t-zone, and occasionally I find I have to remove some excess product as it has not absorbed.
Overall, I would recommend this product for someone who has dry skin, I personally have dry skin and I have found this moisturiser to work wonders for me. I have noticed a visible reduction in redness on my neck area, and when applied, the smooth and soft effect this moisturiser creates lasts for the whole day.
I think the standard size of the product should be increased slightly as with 2 applications a day, you would very quickly run out, and given how effective it is, it would be very inconvenient to run out!
Next up! The Bluebeards Revenge Shaving Solution:
*Packaged in the same way as the moisturiser, unfortunately, the shaving solution did not live up to my expectations. The packaging states that you need to use a ‘liberal’ amount, and this was certainly not an under estimation! I had to use a good 7 or 8 pumps of the product to give me just a thin coverage! As the coverage on my skin was so light, it made for quite an uncomfortable shave.
Overall; I would recommend you to check out their moisturiser by clicking here
