A oil-free concealer that covers those pesky breakouts while clearing the blemishes at the same time sounds like everyone’s cup of tea! I’m always in battle with blemishes so I need a trusty concealer on hand at all times. But does the product deliver?

A common but fantastic active ingredient; 1% Salicylic Acid - treats current blemishes on the skin while reducing the inflammation and redness. Unfortunately, the product is only available in two shades which aren’t hugely different. The light, weightless fluid texture offers a great camouflage and sets for a long matte finish. An issue I had with this is you don’t have a lot of time to pat the product onto the problematic area – this is probably down to the active salicylic acid, an ingredient that can be very drying hence long-wearing on the skin.

When the product launched, a corrective green shade (shade 3) was also available, I too had this shade as it did the trick at hiding my redness from the dermatitis but applying it on a blemish, well thats another story, lets just say it didn’t quite work.

Overall, brilliant coverage, just a shame about the limited shades available, maybe Clinique should bring out a larger range of shades? After all, today’s society is very much multi cultural.
