I’m always on the look-out for products that claim to produce clear, glowing complexion skin - I always seem to jump on the bandwagon whenever I hear that specific or similar claim on products, it’s probably an issue I have, oh well – After all, who doesn’t want a clear, glowing complexion?

I was somewhat interested when I came across skinChemist - something about the name that caught my eye; anything that sounds clinical I’m on it like a car bonnet!

I was thrilled when Ani Sultan from skinChemist offered me the chance to review their Bee Vemon Range Just to be certain, Ani wanted to make sure my skin type would benefit from using the range, as I have combination skin,  Ani assured me that this would be the perfect range for my skin.

So, we have had many skin crazes such as the use of actual snails slowing crawling on peoples faces; Fire Facial - YES! thats right, fire literally on your delicate face, big over in Japan but I honestly can’t see it happening here in the UK - can you just imagine all the press and compensation, we’ll leave it there! Moving on! Bird Poop Facial (known as the Geisha Facial) and finally! These are probably the two known common facials; Gold + Caviar Facial, honestly, the list goes on and on but I won’t bore you anymore!

Before I start telling you my thoughts on the products, I can confirm that no poor little bees were harmed in the making.

So, I bet you’re all wanting to know why Bee Venom has been buzzing around celebrities, A-Listers! Even The Royals are a fan of the stuff, no lie, Camilla began having facial-treatments containing Bee Venom prior to her wedding with Prince Charles!

Starting off with those delicate eyes - Bee Venom Eye Serum; Strangely enough, this product is nothing like a serum, the texture definitely has that weightless, silky-feel to it. So! Real bee venom; which has the ability to prevent skin sagging around the eye area while plumping and tightening the skin revealing a younger you, Eyeseryl; targets puffiness. Two interesting ingredients certainly caught my eye, Coloursoft SMF and Gransil DMCM-5; instantly blurs away any imperfections, fine lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic Acid; As most of us know provides added moisture to the skin.

Bee Venom Facial Serum; Oh I have loved using this! Apply this at night time and your skin will be buzzing in the morning, I’m serious! My face appeared plump and lifted in one application. Manuka Honey; deeply nourishes and moisturises skin while improving the skin texture. Manuka Honey is delicious on toast too! Tegocosmo C250; Magically blurs those unwanted age spots and imperfections. This famous serum, as seen in the Daily Mail also contains natural plant extracts; watercress, the stinging nettle, and horse tail work effectively together which clean those pesky pores on the skin while regulating sebum production to a minimum – the product has a light, soft sweet scent.

Bee Venom Repair + Protect; known as-well for its anti-bacterial properties, this clever little wand works away at healing blemishes and imperfections, Bee Venom also increases blood circulation, speeding the healing process. Allantoin; promotes wound healing while keeping skin at tip top condition – only a pea size amount is required for a group of blemishes.

Bee Venom Facial Oil; with a World Wide Launch, resulted in a celebrity craze from the likes of Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, Bee Venom has surely been causing a stir! This little pipette jar contains an array of powerful, potent ingredients; Manuka Honey, Alpine Rose Stem Cells - guards against pollution and stresses. Almond Oil and Bassabue Oil; intensely softens skin while vital Vitamins E, B and C improves health.

Overall; I was pretty impressed my how quickly my skin recieved the results, skin definitely appeared more shaped and lifted (if that makes sense) – no wonder the celebrities love it! This has probably been one of the most unusual concepts in skin care that I’ve ever reviewed.
