Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint

Okay, so the Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint has been out for quite sometime now around 3 years. I’m always on the search for a bit of cover for my face as I’m prone to discolouration + acne scarring. I always seem to stumble on a product that doesn’t quite give enough cover so it ends up going into Mum’s beauty basket, yes! A beauty basket filled with unused products and numerous tubes of those conditioning glosses that never seem to get used – I should start selling them!

With applying the product I would layer this over a suitable moisturiser if users are wanting that perfect dewy finish, if your skin is more on the oiler side using this product alone without the help of a moisturiser or primer would work just as well (if not better!).

Let’s get down to the main ingredients, Borage Oil: restores moisture loss while soothing damaged skin. Skin softening Avocado Oil is jam-packed in essential proteins, fats and antioxidants making it an exceptional ingredient.

Upon Application I blended the product with my clean fingertips, the product did look a little wet on the skin at first but soon adapted to my skin type resulted in a natural glowing dewy finish – the Liz Earle Skin Tint also contains SPF 15 providing added protection. Luckily no noticeable signs of wearing SPF on the skin, some makeup products can leave that awful greasy white cast effect over the skin – not an attractive look!

I wouldn’t say the finish is heavy but in fact the complete opposite, weightless! What’s also great about the finish is that it doesn’t make those shiny t-zones any worse but instead helps to balance out that unwanted over excessive oiliness. The Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint lasted between 4-6 hours before it needs that slight touch-up.

This is my first review from a Liz Earle product (for some bizarre reason!). I’ve actually had the cult Cleanse & Polish before that I won in a Liz Earle Competition with my sister quite a while back so heavens know why I didn’t review it back then slaps back of hand
